District 3 Candidate Forum – April 15

The Longview Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Longview News-Journal, invites you to participate in a District 3 Candidate Forum on Tuesday, April 15 at 6:00 PM at the Innovation HUB, located at 410 N Center St. in the Chamber’s VeraBank Board Room. This forum is designed to provide the business community and public an opportunity to get to know each candidate and better understand how your perspectives align with Chamber of Commerce priorities. Our goal is to create a respectful, informative environment focused on issues that matter to our local economy and workforce. This will be a moderated panel discussion, not a debate. Mark Robinson, Advocacy Vice-Chair, and Randy Ferguson with the Longview News-Journal will serve as moderators. All questions will be timed, and each candidate will receive equal opportunity to respond. Questions will not be provided in advance. Each candidate will be asked to prepare:

• 5:45 PM – Doors open for attendees • 6:00 PM – Welcome and opening remarks • 6:05 PM – Candidate opening statements • 6:15 PM – Moderated Q&A • 6:55 PM – Closing statements • 7:00 PM – Adjourn
