Small Business Solutions Luncheon 2022

“Small Business isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s for the brave, the patient, and the persistent. It’s for the overcomer.”

Three “overcomers” will be recognized at the Chamber’s annual Small Business Solutions Luncheon. This event, conducted annually during or close to Small Business Week, will feature the following award recipients. Patterson Nissan will receive the Small Business of the Year Award, Cace Kitchen will receive the Family Owned Business of the Year Award, and Operation Unbroken will receive the Veteran Owned Business of the Year Award.

We will also be recognizing the graduates of the Leadership Longview Class of 2022!

In addition, the luncheon will include three very informative speakers:

Mr. Ed Curtis, the author of Why Texas: How Business Discovered the Lone Star State. Ed also co-hosts the CEO Insider Podcast and is a frequent guest and contributor to the Fox Business Channel, CNN Money and several Texas business publications.   

Mr. Aaron Demerson, the Commissioner Representing Employers for the Texas Workforce Commission. Prior to employment at the Texas Workforce Commission, he served as a Senior Advisor to Governor Rick Perry and Executive Director of the Economic Development & Tourism Division in the Governor’s Office, leading a team that marketed the State of Texas as a premier destination for both business and travel.

Glen Hamer,  President and CEO of the Texas Association of Business. Prior to coming to Texas, Glen served for 14 years as the CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce.
