TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is a one-stop shop resource center that provides FREE services to high school graduates, potential and current college students needing financial aid assistance or adults planning to enroll in college or vocational school.TRIO EOC assists clients in Gregg, Harrison, Rusk and Upshur counties with the processes necessary to gain access to post-secondary education. Appointments are recommended:

TRIO EOC Assists with the Following but this list is not extensive
- Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA),
- Complete college applications,
- Find vocational certificate programs,
- Connect with adult education literacy programs to earn high school equivalency,
- Administer career assessments and provide guidance for choosing a program of study
- Scholarship searches
- Provide financial literacy regarding federal student financial aid
- Create loan default strategies that enable students to re-start college
- Develop a plan for students who have lost Federal Financial Aid due to grades or attendance
