Overview: A new start-up opportunity! We are seeking an energetic, motivated, results-oriented and experienced Commercial Sales Representative to join our upcoming Batteries Plus & Bulbs (www.batteriesplus.com) franchise in Longview. The role initially focuses on developing and growing the commercial B2B side of the business, targeting businesses and organizations. The successful candidate will engage in outside sales, support, analysis, and customer service to commercial customers. The role will start on a flexible part-time basis and evolve into a full-time operation and stores management role. Base compensation + commission!


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify, research, and contact potential commercial customers in B2B segments in the assigned territory. Grow, manage, and expand commercial customer relationships.
  • Generate and qualify new leads and opportunities through scheduled appointments, cold calls, follow-up phone calls, emails, thank-you’s, and networking. Utilize sales and marketing materials.
  • Conduct in-person meetings and presentations to showcase Batteries Plus products and services. Create and execute customer action plans.
  • Execute the commercial sales process, ensuring alignment with customer needs and franchise standards professionally.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with business decision makers, procurement personnel, facilities managers, etc., and foster repeat business.
  • Prepare, deliver, and follow up on product and service proposals to the customer and prospects.
  •    Collaborate with the future store operations to support order fulfillment, delivery coordination, and customer services for secured accounts.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitors’ capabilities and market conditions.
  • Prepare special pricing and bidding quotes as requested.
  • Report on commercial sales and activities. Assist accounts receivable in collection activities.
