Congratulations to Animal Protection League on Joining the Longview Chamber of Commerce!
Animal Protection League (APL) is proud to announce its membership with the Longview Chamber of Commerce and continued expansion throughout East Texas. Located at 1604 State Highway 31 E., Longview, TX 75604, APL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable spay and neuter services and preventative veterinary care. What began in Sulphur Springs, Texas in 1997 has grown into a regional effort, with Longview now serving as the organization’s primary hub. APL currently serves 40 communities across East Texas through four surgical mobile units and four brick-and-mortar clinics. In response to increasing community need, the organization has recently added a new surgical mobile unit, secured nine additional service locations, and welcomed its eighth veterinarian to the team. The mission of Animal Protection League is to reduce the stray animal population and decrease unnecessary euthanasia in local shelters by making veterinary care accessible and affordable for pet owners.
By removing financial barriers to spay, neuter, and preventative services, APL works proactively to improve animal welfare across the region. As 2026 begins, Animal Protection League looks forward to continued growth, strengthened community partnerships, and expanding access to care for the pets and families of East Texas. For more information about services, clinic locations, or the new mobile unit, community members are encouraged to contact Animal Protection League or visit their Longview location.
We invite all Chamber members and the public to join us as we celebrate our Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 at 3:00 PM!
