Step into the rooms where decisions are made—and make sure East Texas is part of the conversation.
Join fellow business leaders and advocates from Gregg and Smith Counties for the 2026 Washington, D.C. Fly-In, an immersive advocacy experience designed for Chamber members who care about the future of business, workforce, and community prosperity.
This Fly-In is built for impact—not theory.
Participants will engage directly with members of Congress and their staff during briefings, congressional meetings, and guided tours on Monday and Tuesday, November 9–10. These conversations focus on the federal issues that directly affect local employers, including workforce development, infrastructure, education, regulatory certainty, and economic competitiveness.
Whether you are a seasoned advocate or new to the advocacy process, the Fly-In provides a supportive, well-prepared environment to learn, engage, and be heard. The Chamber team will develop a clear set of priority issues informed by member input and provide background materials and talking points so participants arrive confident, aligned, and ready to represent East Texas well.
Most importantly, this experience brings together a collective, credible business voice—one that policymakers recognize and respect.
If you believe business has a role in shaping strong communities and a competitive future, this experience is for you.
